As a follow up to my comments about truing the out of round tires, I also wanted to mention that the truck place balanced the wheels on the truck with one of the strobe type balancing set ups mentioned in the link below. The beauty of this is that you are not just balancing the wheel and tire, you are balancing the whole rotating assembly as I understand it. They use this routinely for big truck tires there. They have the related machine also that spins the tires, approximating if the vehicle was going 100 mph! to help get the most accuracy. I am sure my PW never saw speeds like that before!
