OT Power Glide Transmission Weight

Anyone know how much a cast iron power glide transmission weights? w/o torque converter....or where I can fins specs for one...I need to ship one and the wife is a little protective of her little bathroom scale. Thanks.

Thanks for help on weight. Got tranny shipped...very very smooth transaction via FreightCenter.com. Just strapped it to a pallet, did the paperwork online. Carrier picked up at my house (Sacramento) and dleivered to buyers dock (Texas) for $280.

shipping a trans...

freight carriers require you to plastic wrap a trans/engine to prevent fluid loss...

leaking fluids play havoc with floors in trailers...and can damage other freight.

heavy construction site cleanup bags work best...thick mil resists tearing on sharp corners...and prevent prying eyes in shipment...
