I just picked up a 2nd M this weekend. Has the LU4 w/PTO and Drive Shaft and stock drive train - Man does that 6 cylinder humm like a sewing machine after it warms up. The rest of the truck leaves much to be desired compared to my other '52, but it has potential. I don't think it's an original WW model.
It looks like it was orignally OD, then painted AF Blue. It has a cab, which may not be slavageable, but I don't think it's the stock arctic cab. Has a sliding rear window vs. the oval.
Question on the LU4. The drum turns freely with a slight drag at one point in a revolution. When I engage the winch, should I be able to turn the drum and get the shaft to rotate? I have yet to drain it to see if there's any fluids left but not having played with one before, figured I'd ask.
