What transmission does this go to? I know its a dodge, but it is very diffrent then my 62 power wagon wm300.

maybe a New Process 420.....

with a PTO on the side. Remove some of the crust from the case and maybe some number will appear. At least a date of build tag..........there are others who frequent this site that know a lot more than me. It resembles the 420 I have in my M37.

Definitely not a 420 or the early version from M37's.

I think I know what it is but hesitate to say until a few inches of crud are removed from the exterior.

It may have been in an M37, but it would not have been original, by its appearance.

May have been sitting on the bed of an M37, that as close as it would come.

He may be mistaking a WWII era Dodge for a M37, but again we need a clearer view to know for sure.

Whats this go to?
Will it be correct for my 1943 3/4 ton carryall?
What is a decent value for what I have?
Does the PTO fit on my Caryall? And if not what is it worth?

Ok attached to this transmission was this engine, flathead 6... It has 1119729-5

That number doesn't match any on the Flathead Six Engine Number page. Is the number you provided a cast in the block one or is it stamped on the number pad?

alas it was the cast in numbers, guess i will go back and look again at ehe flats where they are supposed to be. Ive looked there twice before and have not found anything. Mabey i will try some steel wool and a magic marker in case they are just super lightly striked. thanks i did look in the t134 registry as well and came up with zip which is why i posted here.
