M37 Bracket Identification

    Here are a couple more pic's of the brackets; doubtful that they'll help in clarifying what they are, but they are here anyway...

    With the big nut and washer removed from the bottom


    Here shows the bolts with the wingnut do come out, and a better shot of the copper washer.


    And here is a different view of the upper bracket on the cab top

      just a guess, how about one of those big yellow flashing lights. I'm pretty sure they used them to mark either end of a convoy or following a wrecker.

        Brackets simular on my M37 CDN

        I have a 1954 M37 CDN that is setup as a Canadian version of a M42 Radio truck.

        I have the plates on the bottom but missing the top brackets. The holes in the hard top, i was told was for radio masts on both sides of the vehicle which appears to line up.

        Love to get my hands on a set to copy if anyone has them.

          Hi Bob,

          I've since removed these brackets (upper and lower), and if they are what you're looking for, I wouldn't have any issue with selling them to you if your interested.

          Why have copies when you can have OEM..?
