  • tie down points

In my resto of my '53 M37, the Bulldog, with the tear down I ended up with 6 "tie down" brackets. After blasting and painting, I have re-fastened 4 or them in the middle section of the frame fore and aft.
Now I am scratching my head as to the location of the other two.
Any help? I took lots of pictures with the tear down, but don't see where they all go. I see on the passenger side front frame end between the radiator position and the bumper where one might go, but don't see a corresponding place on the driver side.
I don't see a description in the tech manual or parts book.
    Thanks

Lower front bumper brackets if I remember correctly.

Thanks Will, I will look at the bumper. BTW, I am thinking of doing the same thing you and Paul M did; take the non-winch bumper I have and cut in a roller fairlead, as I am adding an LU4.

Your Welcome Dave, on the Bumper, just don't make the mistake I did and add the receiver hitch below the bumper. It's an approach angle killer.

          Good point.
So you had a front hitch as well as a rear hitch?
I am thinking I will add a receiver hitch directly under the existing pintle in the back, but no hitch up front.

Yea, added it to jockey trailers, but it's used to hold a D-Ring more than not.
