Also civilian 230 engine used bolts. be sure to use high temperature thread sealant on them.
Military used studs seal any studs that may have backed out. Otherwise oil the nuts.
I use copper spray sealant on both sides of the gasket,recommended or not.
All is well here. Actually a little progress on my M 37 after all these years.
Fixing a lot of small things then hopefully in the spring get some paint on it.

Guys, Most WWII WC Dodge engines used studs and nuts while the post war T245 M37 engines used what the manual calls them "cylinder head cap screws" or as we say "head bolts".
