M37 and M43 both 230's and military fuel pumps. I've replaced them both at least twice because of the diaphragms failing and leaking gas into the crankcase. Got them from Midwest Military, John Bizal says it's something about the gas in Florida. He said here and one other state are the only places he's had trouble with the fuel pumps he's rebuilt, uses modern materials. Both tanks are clean and all new fuel lines throughout. Anybody got thoughts or suggestions on this? I don't need the vacuum portion but would like to keep the original look. Anyone know where to get just the fuel diaphragms? The last pumps only lasted around a year so something is weird about them.
Thanks, guys.
