I agree Autocar & FWD made some rigs that make pete,mack,k.w.,freightliner look sorta gaunt.....I've seen some Autocar & FWD oil field rigs around here and they are serious machines, any bigger and they'd be locomotives.

      Truck ID

This is a very rare Federal Dump truck. Missing the original box which is extremely hard to come by.

Well, whatever it is,I like it. I finally got a price from the lady selling the truck. She's hard to get ahold of. Anyway. She says for $500 I can take it away. No title or any paperwork for that matter. I have no idea of its mechanical condition. I'm maily after the sheetmetal. I think it would go very nicely on say a '70's era F350 rolling chassis. FE powered, of course.

I'm just wondering if you guys think its worth $500?

          Federal

          Mark,
I would be interested in the engine if you buy it for the sheetmetal you want.
Ring me at 952-440-8778 and we can discuss the matter.

can your DMV trace the license plate back to the registration ??

one more avenue of ID and serial #...

            good luck
