What is the wheelbase for a WC-26 carryall? I thought all 1/2 tons shared a common wheelbase, but was informed oday that they are different. We were thinking of buying a carryall body and setting it on a chopped up command car frame.

The carryall shares the same wheelbase, 116 inches, as most of the 1/2's including the CC. Ambulance is 123 inches. TM lists a different crossmember for the carryall. Also the running board supports may be in diffent places on the frame. Other than that...
The body your looking at looks pretty good from the pictures. I hoped to get it last trip that direction. Had the same intent. Looks like a good project to me. Good luck.
