WC52 Charging system, 6-volt

I have the WC52 running nicely but I would like to confirm that the charging system is operating correctly (it's a 6 volt). What is the voltage that I should see at the batt with the engine running? Should I also see the same reading with with the headlights on? I had the gen and reg rebuilt, no problems with anything just want to check the system. Oh, and I did polarize the gen prior to startup.
I am seeing 6.4 volts on the batt at idle and approx 7.5 volts when I rev it up a bit.

It looks like it's fine. Minor adjustments to slightly higher voltage in operating weather below 40 degrees may be a good idea- but wait and see, because there should be a temperature-compensating resistor which automatically does this.
