  • Single speed transfer case

I would like someone to write their experience in repair or rebuild of the single speed transfer case used in the WWII 1/2 and 3/4 ton Dodges. A number of you must have done this before. Please write to me at the contact link below.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

    Hi Gordon:

I will be doing this job on a spare unit within the next two months- if no one replies to your request, I will write and illustrate an article for you (I hope it will prove useful!).

Makes me wish I had taken pictures and written an article up when I did the one in my boss' 41 WC. I can take some pics of the original packaging the gaskets and seals came in if anybody is interested. He found some NOS that we used for the rebuild (too bad it leaks almost as bad now as it did, gotta love leather seals!).
