  • 5 1/2 tonners in one place

Juan Pollo (chicken restaurant) sponsored their 11th annual Veteran's Day parade, car show, and cruise on Saturday November 6th. Located in old downtown San Bernardino, Calif., on E Street at 14th Street. This show typically attracts "shiny" hot rods and "low riders". Patriotic ceremonies were held as well as judging and awards.

In regards to this site, FIVE Dodge 1/2 ton trucks showed up (four different models!). Jim N.'s 1/2 ton Panel and Pickup, Leonard N.'s 1/2 ton Command Car, another 1/2 ton Pickup owned by Robert M.(not shown), and my 1/2 ton Telephone replica. The number of Dodges actually out-numbered the more "popular" jeep for once....

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Yep, original. I can get the serial number from Jim, maybe, if he is willing.
