Pulled the radio interference filter off my WC 51 and have no idea whether it works or not? Is there anyway to test it? I hate to have everything ready to go and have to source a replacement.

Yes Gordon the radio interference filter contains three large capacitors (originally called condensers). The circuits running thru the filters are the starter, generator regulator and ignition. See attached diagram.Comment
