  • m37 bed on Power Wagon

Have any of you guys put an m37 bed on a Power Wagon? Thanks, phil

Can't say I have seen one. That's not to say someone hasn't done it.
The bed would be to short at 79" in length compared with the 8 ft. bed on the standard 126" wheel base.

I have seen it done. There will be a substantial gap between the cab and the headboard. Perhaps a custom fuel tank or tool box would fill it.

This would be the perfect way to replicate the "king cab" modification used in uranium exploration. If I remember correctly, there were (at least) three Power Wagons built with extended cabs to accommodate echo location equipment and an operator. The stock bed was shortened to make room for the longer cab.

I will try to find my photos of the one I have seen, but the M-series bed would look really cool if a guy wanted to go for a roomier cab.
