temperature gauge
I finally got all of the wiring done and got the truck started. All seems to work with the exception of the temp.gauge . The truck was 12 volts when I got it. Now that I have the temp gage wired up it goes to hot almost immediately. Should I change to sending unit to a 12 volt one? I don't know if it is 6 volt or 12 volts, though I suspect the gage is 6 volt

Temp sender
My 53 has a mechanical temp gauge, but I was thinking in 56 they switched over to 12V electrical senders with associated black face gauge. VPW has the senders.Tim Ellis
