Propane was looking pretty good there for a while when fuel prices were way out of whack. I looked into that option as well and there are some pretty wazoo systems out there that do everything but your taxes. I have driven propane vehicles before and was impressed at how well they started in cold weather. Power wise, if the engine is set up specifically for propane it can make similar power and fuel economy as a gasoline engine too. Just be sure to have your heads converted to propane or the valves won't last long. Take a look at these sites that I found for info on parts and full systems. I had to look long and hard to find them. There seems to be a shortage of people still doing this stuff. http://www.propaneguy.com/www.propaneguy.com/Index.html
