  • My 76 W200

For starters my name is Kyle ,Just got my hands on this beast. She's a little rough guy that built it is a friend of the family's he built it up and used it on his dads farm for a farm truck and a play truck here and there. She's a little beat up from pushing down trees and brush when he was out making trails ;) .
Then my aunt's boyfriend got it off him. He didn't do much with it poor thing set other then when they would get it out to roll a truck back over or pull one out that none of the other trucks out playing could get out. Most the body damage is from my aunts son he got mad at his mom one night and when she left he thought the poor thing needed some body work done with a bat. Took out all the lights and did a little work to the grill and fenders as u can see in the pics below. Wouldn't mind taking a bat to his grill and knocking his lights out. Just one good hit to the face but yeah here's some pics of the beast.

Welcome! It looks like a cool truck. No body work necessary. Just drive it as is and have fun in it.

I don't plan on making it a show truck or anything. i do plan on getting her dirty doing a lot of mud bogging some trail riding (well in that big beast case making the trails bigger or making new trails) so ill put my share of dent's in her i just wanna straighten up the body panels ,grill stuff like that and stop the rust from spreading ,new headlights , fog lights ,tail light lenses ,new rocker panels ,might put in a roll bar ,maybe some 4 or 6" stacks ,might rhino line the bed , wheel wells ,and rocker panels . but most all that's just as i get the money and time main thing I'm gonna for sure get done is fixing all the lights , and stopin the body from rusting out any more.

if your gonna do it yourself

Check out eastwood @ eastwood.com I bought their rust converter and and rust stopper spray paints and its good stuff keeps the rust from continuing its march across everything I coated most of the firewall and other tight areas with that stuff and duralinered the floors and a quarter way up the vertical surfaces. and its been sitting out in the rain and no rust has come back yet. with no top coat and no sealer I would use it again.

Greatly appreciate the tip & advice. Considering this truck has set in the weeds and not been takin care of or moved much from back in 94 till I got it its not as rusted out as I thought it would be (must be that top of the line Dodge quality) with winter on its way like to get the rust stopped and get the body protected to keep the body from getting in any worse condition. I'm not gonna leave it setting out in the weather I'm gonna keep it in my barn but its still gonna get its full share of mud ,water ,snow ,and anything eals that I throw at it when I got her out playing. So sounds like what ur talkin about might just be what I need I'll be sure to look into it Thx.
