Finally brought home the 1980 W400!

The W400s are nice trucks, they have a 60" cab-axle length and the frame behind the cab is about 1" taller, D60 front and D70 rear and usually 4.88 gears, at least the 2 I have are that way and were Pierce Fire trucks.

Sadly, not very much. Most of the utility bed is full of tools, so mostly, just have the most awesome cabinet.

I've considered selling recently, but will have some new money from another truck sale. One large stimbling block is finding the correct rear fuel tank. Had my feelers out and found several sources had scrapped the trucks. Also, became reinvolved in another truck project, and a flatbed trailer, and the family bicycles, and the camper trailer. Lastly, my work duties have largely kept me from home for over a year with limited time forinvolved projects.

All excuses. Drat.
