I picked up this truck not needing another truck as I already built a `71 Power wagon way back but fell in love with this one at first site. I am the second owner. The man that bought it new which I never had a chance to talk to must have really loved this truck just by looking at all the things he did to it.
When I picked it up it didn't run and the usual no brakes, and full of wasp nest everywhere including in the carburetor and intake manifold. But when I popped the hood for the first time and saw a Hemi in there I didn't care if it had a Black beer living in it I wanted it.
It had a very old welder in the back that came out before I bought it so I think the owner liked to weld or was a welder by trade. By looking at the custom bumper and things he welded up on over the years he was a good stick welder too. The wheels are modified for wide tired not sure what he needed that for but they are there and I plan on putting some stock ones soon.
I plan on not restoring this truck just keep it looking like it does and fix everything, to make it road worthy again.
Stay tune
