                    mirrors

I was very happy to take the ugly mirrors off and put these beauties on.
If I could only figure out how to transfer the patina moss off the old mirror metel to the new ones when they come in. hmmmmmm

I found this one but it is convex, is this ok? should I keep hunting flat only?

I'm planning to run 5" convex on my 6x6. It gives a better field of view in my opinion.

I seem to have better luck seeing with the 5x7 rectangular mirrors, they just do not look quite right, I have tried several different versions of mirrors over the years and have yet to find the perfect form, fit and function. Every truck requiring a slightly different style for both look and use.

Life is easier in a lower gear.

I've got 5x7s on my WM300, and there's not enough usable space with a 3" fisheye stuck to it. So I'm going to try just a 4" or 5" convex and see how I like it. I think it will be an improvement on the passenger side.

                              Lil Painting

I was treating a customer trunk rust with Por-15 and had a little extra, Al floors are very solid but the usual surface rust around here so can't hurt might help.

Totally forgot about mirrors ordering until I came back on here, time flies don't it?

I put my NAPA mirrors on they fit great, I did have to drill mount to 5 1/6 since old ones were 1/4 .

I like the white, it just has a really nice vintage look. I can see your tubing cutter on the wall back there as well. Very nice.
