Took my 37 to a car/truck show and saw a fellow there with a 1947 dodge truck. We got to talking and he saw my engine sierial number and said, " at least you have the right engine in there". I said how do you know. He said , your engine number starts with a -T-. If it was a -P- its a passenger car engine. He said his had a passenger car engine in his and did not know it until long after he bought it.
Not sure what the difference is if any. They look the same pretty much . His had a different carb and distributer and the water inlet was different but not much else that I could see.
