I think Gordon's action was prudent under the circumstances.
The whole purpose of this site is a shared interest. It would be difficult to pursue with all the rancor and factionalism that the recently proscribed topics generate.
As you may have noticed I have a house guest, actually a couple of them .
Julian and Dana are the sons of a friend of my wife. they are twelve and nine respectively. Their mother is a Marine Major and currently on deployment in one of those desert places .
I've had Julian monitoring a few of my favorite sites and alerting me to the goings on. I had told him not to check on the Maelstrom due to content.
I guess he chimed in on the baseball thread last night as he is a pretty decent short stop according to people that know. I know very little about baseball but I enjoy watching youngsters play the game.
I am currently on my three off plus one, so I'll be home the next few days.
My plans for re-retiring have been sabotaged due to extended deployments of key training personnel. Apparently Mamud and Abdul aren't catching on as quick as everyone hoped.
I hope to poke my head in again before I go back .
