  • Need some parts for an old Chainsaw

    I just got this 1953 Mall 2MG chainsaw off of Ebay. I need to find a chain for it, and a muffler. The chain is a 9/16" pitch chain whatever that means.
    I know nothing about these saws, except they were made in Ill., and It would make one neat accessory for our '53 Power Wagon all running and restored.

    I'm not sure what direction you want to go in? Here, locally I have someone that customs cuts new chains for saws, I could ask him what he thinks, if you'd like?

      Normally the pitch refers to the distance from tooth to tooth on the drive sprocket, you should be able to pick one up at any saw shop.
