  • amazing weather phenomena

I am no weather expert, but I have lived in the south, west, Great Plains and mid-atlantic area in my 55 years, and have never seen anything like what noaa records below, which recently occured in Idaho.
    Amazing don't you think?

I work in Idaho all the time, and have never seen anything like those.

Seems that Idaho is the place for strange astronomical events this year. I was working in Victor Idaho on January 26th and witnessed the phenomena below. It was 20 below in Victor that night, and there were ice crystals in the air. Our friends in the north of the 49th parallel may see this occasionally, but I guess it's relatively rare in the States. Definitely "beam me up Scotty" freaky.

I have never seen "ball lightning". Now I have something else to look for. That is an odd one. Thanks for sharing.

            Snow rollers

I saw some of those this winter next to I-80 near Fort Bridger, Wyoming. I had no idea that they were rare. I'll try to get some pictures if I spot any more. They do look pretty odd.
