Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

    Congrats!

Just curious Gordon, how many subscibers did you get in that 1st year? Has it steadily increased or does the number of subscribers go up & down in some sort of a cycle/trend? Peak year? Did the introduction of the website change the number of subscribers to the PWA much? I have no need to know this, just wondering about the popularity of these old trucks. I don't see many, but people always seem to reflect positively on them.

I first heard about PWA in an ad in Hemmings years ago.

The first issue in 1984 went out to 190 people, and the postal service required 200, so I sent out 10 magazines free. Circulation is pretty steady, has risen over the years, and is a bit over 1,200.

The web has brought more people to the hobby, to the magazine, and has brought more contributors, including more people from international locations.

I'm glad circulation doesn't mimic the stock market, lettuce futures, or OPEC production.

I like the general direction the site is going, and wish the magazine 25 more years success.

Thank you for your answering my questions!

If I may so bold I will encourage that people take advantage of one of Gordon's offers.

I did so several years ago when he made a similar offering and have never regretted it.

The great thing about PWA is that, by the nature of it's subject matter, is timeless.

I have yet to get a "bad" issue and the mixed back issues I received were the same.

              'Nuff said.

The only problem with the special offers is that they are only for new subscribers, it just isn't fair! = )

                Congratulations Gordon!

                          Congratulations on 25 Years

Gordon, I went to the MVPA Convoy overnight in Jefferson Iowa tonight and wore one of your PWA shirts. A couple of the guys recognized the shirt and we all agreed you've really helped the hobby and in bringing everyone together. Keep up the great job.
