I had a chance to go aboard and tour a B-17 and B-24 six years ago in Seattle and it was an awesome experience.
By doing so I developed even more admiration for the bomber crews when I saw how spartan and "out there" those old planes were really like. They were so cramped that you had to turn sideways to get therough the bomb racks, for example. And the aluminum looked to be very thin as to the skin of the plane, not much protection if any at all from flak or enemy bullets.
A ride would be nice, but a little pricey.
