I'm with Ron on this one,I thought the same thing about the title of this thread.
I for one and I'm sure more than you(we) know have been following your diagnosas of your Dodge CTD No Start.
You have been covering all the bases so to speak and learning the modern day electrical systems much like you taught many moon's ago.
I know it's frustrating to say the least,but also gratifying and rewarding to stimulate and exercise your automotive heritage.
How else would you, I and most here spend there New Year Eve on a cold below zero Dec. night in our personal shop
With the shop heater operating at Max Capacity,our favorite
Radio station playing, while looking for little 'Gremlins"
In our trucks Ign. circuit.

The smallest unit normally refered to is a BIT. 8 BITS = 1 BYTE
1024 BYTES = 1 KILOBYTE
1024 KILOBYTES = 1 MEGABYTES

3069 means your computer is taking in 3069 kilobytes per second (kbs), which equals roughly 3 megabytes per second (mbs)

Steve's dad's computer getting 10mb sec is really clicking along.

My verizon wireless (totally wirelesslike a cell phone) runs 1200-1500 kbs
when things are going good.

Storage is refered to in megabytes and the much larger gigabytes.
Speed (be it download/upload/processing) is refered to usually in kilobytes per second for slow things (think of inch/pounds on a torque wrench), or in megabytes for larger volumes of information (think of ft/pounds on a torque wrench).

i may have used wrong abbreviations

Kilobits per second should be kbps
Kilobytes per second should be KBps

I believe Mr. Watson's 22364 kbps would = 2795 KBps since 8 bits to a byte, therefore 2795 would further translate to 2.7 MBps not taking rounding into consideration.

I hope this is correct. If wrong again, somebody please line me out.

Gordon your download speed seems good (data coming into your computer), but your upload speed (data going out) doesn't seem all that great.

I am NO expert here, just making comparisions with what I have experienced on my father's DSL and my own wireless laptop.
