So I was looking under google images to compare the interior of my 49 PW to some of other peoples when i found this...

I must say, this truck probably has as much plastic on it as trucks today do. And is than an automatic transmission?

Chance I would have to say that the truck you refer to is not typical of Powerwagons in general. Although nicely executed , the majority of owners prefer originality to innovation. That being said , one rarely finds two restored PW's that are identical.

I completely Agree. It's nice to have a piece of history restored to it's original self. I just posted this because it blew my mind. I can't begin to imagine how much time and effort this must have taken.

There are people who take "stock" early PW's and install Cummins engines and disc brakes.....
