When you come to the forums, what do you do?

Do you enter forums of interest and look? Do you use the new posts link? Do you look at your list of subscribed threads? Do you respond only to notification emails?

Tell me a little bit of how you navigate and why. I want to understand this. Seriously. Thank you.
As mentioned above, I visit any & all forums that show a posting later than my last log-in time. I view all of the threads (they are high lighted in boldface) that have been posted to.

I go first to "User CP", to see if I have any replies to previous posts. Then I go to "New Posts", then I surf the various threads to be sure I didn't miss anything not covered by the first two choices, after about 15 hours I am satisfied that I have not missed anything...

Then I do it all again with the good eye...= )

Interesting. I had forgotten. Your subscribed threads are listed in the user control panel.

Have you noticed you can also use the quick links dropdown [located at the upper right, which will yield a subscribed threads dropdown?

I'd say you had a good eye in catching that, but it may be a bad pun in your case.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

[LIST][*]I can put an announcement at the top of the forums. As you enter any forum, look up to the top; above the first post will be an announcement.

I think a separate heading at the top of the page, perhaps in an eye catching color or font.
I think in the long run it might be less labor intensive for you.
