    I may have a line on a first gen 8L V10 out of a Dodge 2500.
I was wondering if Viper V10 engine parts will swap over.
Valve covers, induction, exhaust, internals like cam, piston, crank ect...

I am just guessing, but I think things physically fit (interchange) between the car & truck motors, but not sure about how they'd work together. Didn't the Viper use alot of aluminum parts?

And I think that little SRT (or whatever that little V10 truck was) was more related to the car than the bigger V10 trucks.

The Ram 2500/3500 was available with the V10 from 1994-2003. 2003 was the only year it came in the "new" body style.

I believe I read somewhere that while the engines shared the same displacement and the same basic design, parts would not interchange between the 2 because they were quite different engines. It makes sense, the Viper engine is a revver while the truck engine made its power down low and didnt wind nearly as high. The Viper engine was all aluminum while the truck engine was all cast iron. I think the bellhousing the is the same shape, which is how Chrysler installed the Viper engine into the SRT-10 trucks.
