I just had the chance to check in on this section and I was shocked to read this
news. My sincere condolences to you and your family on your Dad's passing.

I was digging around through some old files, pictures, etc. and came across
some information on my Uncle who was with the 424th FA Bn. He was actually
assigned to "A" Battery, not "B" Battery with your Dad and Uncle.
If you do not have it yet, there is a book [now only available on CD] about the
424th written by Edward Bicknell that makes mention of the Dixon Brothers.
There are a bunch of photos that come with the CD as well. If you're interested
in getting a CD, let me know. Its titled "The Iron Triangle".
