    Here I am shown on the right at about six months of age. An older relative and I were sitting in Grandpa's chair. Above the photograph is the cap I was wearing as it appears today. Oh yes, I still have it. It is a nice little blue and white fisher stripe herringbone utility cap. And, yes, Grandpa wore these all the time on the farm - a little bigger version of course. So, I guess, the whole tradition was just part of my genes right from the start.

    Now that is cool! I'm glad my mother saved stuff I had when I was a kid. Memories are great!

        My mom still has the little blue get-up I was wearing when they picked me up from the hospital. I was 5 days old (adoption).
        Even has the shoes too.
