    Rethink

    I was looking at a forum and thought I had made a mistake during a move of threads to the archives. After studying it for a while and working on getting it right, I had a rethink of things.

    You will now find that each of these forums:

    Military
    WWII Dodge
    M-series Dodge

    Civilian
    1-ton Power Wagon
    Power Giant
    W-series Dodge
    72-93 Dodge

    Other
    Service & repair
    Conversions & modifications
    The Back Room
    Trucks for sale
    Parts & equipment for sale

    .....have had the current forum vs archives balance redistributed.

    All of them but the ads now have the last 4-1/2 years of content in the main forum, with the rest of the content in the archive. This forum is ten years old, so the archives presently have about 5-1/2 years.

    The ad forums have the last 12 months in the current forum with two more years of ads in the archives.

    Those of you who are subscribers and premium forum users should let me know if I have made an error somewhere.

    This makes the current forums considerably deeper in content at about 45% of the whole, with about 55% in the archives.

    Nice, I like this. I didn't spend much time at it, but I couldn't find anything that didn't work as I expected.

        I found one little thing that made me sad... I went to post something in the Carryall Thread, and it appears to have been moved into the Archive section. I am not a premium member at the moment (Broke as a Joke) so it says I don't have permission to get into the archives, yet the regular section of the forum for Military Dodges has threads from 2009 and earlier...? This something that got flipped around by chance?

            That thread is moved back where it belongs. I have a larger problem in the WWII forums I need to fix, getting threads where they belong. I will fix that this morning.

            Anyone see other problems?
