Help with naming my business

We had all of the white oak boards we used to cover our cathedral ceiling in our living room rough sawn at Enterprising Bakers. Enterprising Bakers is comprised of a family farm, a sawmill and a field tiling business. Baker is their family name and they chose "enterprising" after looking it up in the dictionary. Definitions such as: "Willing to try or think of new ideas or methods", "Marked by imagination, initiative, and readiness to undertake new projects", and "Marked by aggressive ambition and energy and initiative" just seemed to describe their families ventures they explained.

Knowing you Ron, I think "Enterprising Rons" would be the perfect name for any endeavor you may choose to explore.

Then, there was the local company that called themselves "Unique Concepts". They too, supplied their customers with a lot of different goods and services. I always thought that one was kind of catchy.

While working in the shop today...

I was thinking of all the names and suggestions presented while working on a truck when this came to me. Silk Purse Productions, now you're thinking has he gone a little further than his usual half bubble off plumb? Think about it the trucks I get are not much to look at when I get them. You've seen some of my work so in that vein I can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Ok maybe not but it was good for a laugh wasn't it? A little humor there, yes I know very little.

Ron: I suggest using an explicit name to avoid dealing with furniture restoration requests or whatever. The association with Dodge vehicles can be made visually afterwards by "plugging" a Dodge truck graphic or pic wherever the company name appears. I haven't had the opportunity to meet you, but I do know you as Ron in Indiana. As far as your full name goes, quality work and service will enable customers to quickly associate it with that of your new company. According to what I read in this web site, MV Restorations and Vintage Power Wagons are good examples where the company owner's name and the company's name are readily interchangeable in any discussion. Good luck with your new enterprise.

My last name is Péloquin, Ron. Would you believe a patronym which has been around since year 1080 (yes, for 933 years...) is difficult to pronounce and write by something like 99% of the world population?
