There are a couple of web sites on these sirens, very cool. It was said they were so loud they could make fog drop out of the air.

I remember reading about one of these in hot rod or rod and custom, I belive it was on top of a building slated for demolition in california. It would be ironic if the hemi powerplant was equipped with a muffler. ha ha
