Steve I was going to say Tom is the closest and will do you right, he's just that kind of guy. Man you're going to have a load going back to the left coast.

Thankyou Tom for the offer. I'll put those parts in the back of the Chevy for traction. :)
I'll check my purchase status and get back to you for yea or nea and location.

Ron, can you fly out to California and help me finish putting the 1958 W100 back together so I can put it up for sale? I have some sunshine out here - warm sunshine.

EDIT CORRECTION: It just started hailing here when I hit the enter key.

ANOTHER EDIT CORRECTION: Now it's thundering and really hailing.

Oh sure I'll fly right out there, warm sunshine you say, hail you say. Hope the good sheet metal is under cover. As much as I'd like to visit and help you I'm afraid my day job is starting to kick in around here. Awful tempting though. I still have a couple of road trips to get in too. My 59 W300 is waiting on me in MA. Should look real nice next to Stubby.

I wish I could fly out for your rally. Bet you guys have a great time there. Just don't take the W300 through the Indiana mud, I want to save that for Iowa.

We do alright for a rally. I wouldn't think of putting that truck in the mud I've got a TW for that and I'm looking at a set of mudders just for kicks. Hope the hail didn't cause any damage.

I'm just hoping that I don't need to buy a larger trailer. My D400 was just under the limit. The trailer is a 7500 lbs model. With the trailer weight at 1850 and the D400 at 5200 (something) left me with a 450 lb margin.

But how does that calculation really work? If you have 500 lbs on the hitch, will my margin be 500 plus the 450 as mentioned above?

Tom, I appreciate it much. My plans for the Hemi 354 2x1 intake will be to match it up to an EFI system from Retrotekspeed.
                        http://www.retrotekspeed.com/product...-injector.html

This will be for my 1958 Dodge D400. The next thing will be to mate an NV4500 to the stock bell housing. I haven't found an adapter made for this application yet. The NP540o tranny I found recently was going into the D400 but now will find its way into the W300.

And, Ron, this truely is a sickness. I just can't help myself. LOL

Steve, yeah we all start out the same saying we only need ONE truck. There is no cure so just go along for the ride. Have you contacted Advance Adapters? They mate up about anything to every thing else. Probably not cheap but they do it right from what I've heard. I'm going east soon since I have a 57 FFPW in my drive as of today that is looking for it's new home. Work will be jumping off soon so I need to run down the road and burn up fuel.

                              Tom

Something didn't register at first when I saw the e-mail (PWA subscription notification to this thread) and said "What?". I thought it was the original seller saying that because I had asked him to put the Buy It Now option on his listing. That was a good morning laugh - even got the attention of my wife who now I had to tell what I bought. That didn't go over well since her birthday is the day after tomorrow.
