do a search for (wiper arm removal) the info is there. the 3$ ones I got from napa seemed to be of poor quality. I cant see them lasting very long. I deformed two of them during installation. There must be some trick or easier way to install them. I had one heck of a time getting them on, and then the linkage back together. I would have rather paid 20 bucks a piece for the peace of mind knowing that I would never have to do them again.
will be to your advantage. its a strange job, every step has you muttering to yourself "if i could just" reach, hold, get another finger on it,get my hand in there, let go for a second to switch hands without it falling off, all while you are twisted and contorted across the fender standing on a milk crate.
Looks like you are doing a bang up job on your rebuild. I really dig those valve covers!
I've got a 75 over in Pendleton that I am going to overhaul when I return from Hawaii. Where did you find all your parts around there? I am going to be over that way next week, figured I'd start getting some stuff ready while I was there.

thanks, my first rig was a 75 powerwagon. so far ive either had the stuff sitting in the shop from other rigs or ive just bought it at schucks.
i did do a little work on the powerwagon today but most of my day was building a rear bumper for a land rover.
Well its been a while since I have really worked on the truck, with hunting season and all, I was pretty busy. Took me 3 radiators to get the right one since this doesn't have the "true" 80 core support. The first one was too tall and just a bit to wide, the second one was too small all around (I think it was a missbox), and now on my third one it is right. I built a shelf on the inside of the firewall behind the glove box and mounted the MSD box.
I am shooting to have this done and going for a big camping trip in may. I know that seems a ways off but I know how slow I can work lol.
good to hear that it is still coming along. enjoying the freezing rain are you?
It sucks, only one of our delivery trucks has studs (and its not mine) so I'm stuck working in the store cause they won't let me drive it without the studs.
Spent most of my morning doing yard work but was able to make it upto the shop for a bit. Did some work on my dash, still a little bit to do then paint.
I picked up another project a few weeks ago so I've been tinkering with it. Its a 67 jeep gladiator.
heres the dash setup so far, i still have work to do on it and its just sitting in there but heres my start.
also started on some cheap hood vents, i placed them towards the rear and outside edges so if it gets rain in it, it will be at the back of the wheel wells.
